MDE → Guatapé First: A Two-Day Airport-First Itinerary

A two-day Guatapé itinerary for travelers landing at MDE who want to stay east before going into Medellín.

Arrival logic

José María Córdova Airport is in Rionegro. If Guatapé is next, a direct/private road leg can make more sense than going into Medellín first and coming back east.

Day 1

Protect the arrival day: town, dinner and one easy activity. Do not make a delayed flight threaten a tightly timed rock climb.

Day 2

Do La Piedra and the reservoir with a fresh start, then continue to Medellín later in the day.
